This is the first of my plans for new AOM civilizations.
Feel free to offer suggestions for anything, anything in brackets is currently undetermined and thus I could really use suggestions.

Economy
As the so called 'cradle of civilization' Sumerian villagers can build farms and markets from the very start of the game, but because of the relative resource-poorness of the land they come from, the Villagers gather wood and gold more slowly, making markets more essential than usual.
To gather favor, Sumerians can train Scribes, who generate Favor when tasked on any building. What buildings generate the most favor differs based on major god.
Military
Sumerians have 2 different hero units, similar to Egyptians, the more general-purpose priests, and the limited-to-one Lugal, who has high health but a very low attack against units other than Myth Units.
Sumerian Human units are initially weak but quite cheap, but in the Heroic age, a line of more powerful and expensive Elite units are made available.
Basic Units:
- Vulture Spearman (Infantry)
- Javelin Thrower (Archer)
- Mule Chariot (Cavalry)
Elite Units
- Maceman (Infantry)
- Bowman (Archer)
- Canaanite Chariot (Cavalry)
Siege Units
- Sapper: Classical Infantry with significant crush damage.
- Covered Ram: Heroic Siege Weapon
- Assyrian Tower: Mythic Siege Weapon
