I heard that people tend to criticize AoM:EE. Most of the AoM players use AoM:TT to play multiplayer and some of them even say AoM:EE is bad in terms of singleplayer. Why do they say so? Why AoM:EE is seen as a bad version even it is the latest expansion? Which version would you recommend to get?
I will either find a way, or make one.

I prefer EE, it has a proper multiplayer system, better mod support (even with the lack of anim mods), you can zoom out further, default editor has more features, supremacy is more balanced, there are more people who play that speak English, and you get the china expansion if you're into that.

The AoM:EE on Steam is fairly good to play. Sure, it's not perfect, but if you like AoM then the EE has enough in it to keep you going. There are plenty of mods in the workship to add value to what is basically a very old game (18 years old this year) so for me there is still plenty of fun to be had in the EE and that is the version I prefer.
