The story follows the Shaman (Son of Osiris) in his quest to become a god. He must battle the three enemy tribes of the Dakini, the Matak and the Chumara, whose Shamans have similar goals.
There is no cinematic, no AI, not much of a story line, but it's all game play. The campaign starts easy so you can get an idea of the concepts but it will get more difficult as the game progresses.
Playability: 2
The game was rather easy, and I understand that it isn't an easy thing to bring all the powers and such to the game. I didn't understand how to beat level 1(without cheating), as I never really got a barracks. Also, when I got to level 17, I was automatically returned to the campaign menu.
Balance: 2
As said, the game was to easy. The last level included, all you had to do was kill the Kronos and I won. I'm going to give you a two on this.(Three sentance minimum, right?)
Creativity: 2
A Son of Osiris is not really the best choice for the Shaman. The Shaman itself was really quite weak without her magic. Destroying monuments was somewhat a good way to gain its prize, but it could have been better.
Map Design: 2
Looking at these maps, they are based somewhat well on the actual game. Of course, it was harder as in the game the map was a full globe, with no edges. There was no eyecandy, and you could have put much more detail.
Story/Instructions: 3
There was little storyline in the real game, I know, but I would have to disagree with using Objectives the way you did. But I will only give this a three, because you explained the Shaman's quest as vaguely as possible. Also, there was no Kronos at the end of the game, nor was there any huge shaman.
Additional Comments:
It could have been much better with more effort. The overall rating is 2.2, which is below a 'passing' grade.
Also, those 'cinimatics' are only flybys - they don't count in my opinion. There was really only the cinimatic at the start of the game, the end of 24, and when you lose a game.
