We played a 3vs3 game earlier on, and these guys laughed at me, when I lost fighting all 3 of them while my other 2 Thor allies had resigned. So I challenged him to a 1on1 and he lost.
I did the strategy of double encirclement, with 2 ulfsarks working up the coast, building stuff. I won initially the sea battle and I begun raiding, but he came back and started winning the sea, while I started pouring units from my FB left intact on his left side.
It was gg, but he made a brave attack with a bunch of soldiers, a behemoth, and a bunch of cheirios at my base.
I had no troops, so I just made my vils into Ulfsarks and started spamming ulfsarks from my base. When his force was wiped out, his base was also overun and he quit.
I got pissed off at laughing, and I never laugh when someone loses...
really good game but I think if he didn'nt resign, the game could last for long because at the end, you had no ressource and no gatherers... and he have loads of wood and gold so he could make a lot of chierobalista and then.... well I dont know...

OK guys,
first of all, he had 1 TC left and I had a potent force of troops plus a few battle boars with which to take it down and hunt all his remainin vils.
Second, with the rax I had -perhaps few in number- didn't have the resources for more troops as you saw. I think, the rax was enough to spam out units.
Also, I didn't fight for the sea when he made another go at it, cause I've had enough men to take all TCs. So I let him lose time in reconquering the sea, and thus limiting his pop, while I worked the land.
If you noticed, there was another settlement to my right, that my 9 Ulfsarks could've built after defeating his cheirio expeditionary force.
