AoM: The Titans |
New unit: the Roman imperial guard Praetorian ("Praetorianus" in latin).
This Praetorian is designed with a leather armour (with a bronze gorgon on the chest), an ornate oval shield and an italic crested helmet.
In this mod the Praetorian is equipped with a gladius or a roman spear (random).
This mod use new models and high-quality textures!

Cool!
this is actually a Very Nice unit, Roman soldiers are the best
the choice of the models is excellent, the textures are perfect, the details of the textures on the body and on the shield, are wonderful.
the Roman Praetorian it isn't overpowered or underpowered, so it is balanced, in the editor truly looks Great and works very well
Additional Comments:
is it possible to build this unit in game? And if it is, what civilization are the Praetorian and Centurion part of?
If you make an archer unit and the cavalry unit, it would be really cool.

Thank you for your rating, Titan12! I am really pleased to know that my units like to other users :-)
Unfortunately, you cannot build this units in game yet.. This should required a modification on the 'techtree',and I am not able to to this, now..
[..but maybe in the future I may try to insert my mods in game, under the Greek civilization (the more similar to Roman civilization..)]
Archers and cavalry will come, I think... sooner or later.. ;-)

Great! you're a very good modder, i hope you made Archers and cavalry as soon as possible
there are many mods in aom.heavengames, but there is not a whole mod (apart some units) on the Roman civ. I noticed that you did Roman Legionary (it's very good) and Cataphract, i think that a couple of good modders like you, could create the whole Roman civilization, with all units, every kind of buildings, the Colosseum and everything.
if you like this idea, i think that you will find some ready modders to help you to do this project
