Its absolutely playable, but its much lag in the start.
Balance: 5
Its great! But sometimes the hunters get angry because they can't build temple units in the start. This map is one of the few escapes that I must try to escape, I'm glad you can't build infinite with sky passages and towers.
Creativity: 5
VERY creative. The best thing with the whole escape is that you can choose your own civilization. And all the powers you can buy of course, but the telephatic civilizasion should have some more powers to buy.
Map Design: 4
Good design, the forest you walk around in is a bit monotonous, but not too bad.
Story/Instructions: 4
A good introducton, it explains the game in a kind of funny way that the most of the peoples understands.
Additional Comments:
A great map overall! A stupid thing that sometimes happens is that someone dont want to move their old man, and i I have to quit, it should be a timeout or something there.

An awsome map to play on. The only map better than this is FC_Nidhogg~Fly By Night
Balance: 3
I thought the hunters not being able to make temple units at the beginning put them off. Also, 1 Kill per Favor and 1 Wood per building. 1 Kill per Favor is far too slow, and as a wizard I have never bought omega. 1 Wood per kill is fine.
Wizard statues are fine for escapers... but for hunters they are STUPID! They summoned them and took all 3 of us out at once with 1 lightning bolt.
Also, make a new "best" power for exploreres. Marco's Flash Vision. This would cost about 40 for escapers and 60 for hunters. This makes the whole map visible for everyone... for only 3 seconds. If your careful you can shift there quickly, and hunters can see where you are hiding.
Wow I wrote alot on balance. Now for the rest.

Brilliant ideas and lovely images I think it was a stunning idea.

Yeebaagooon... you can do better than that! It was most likely using Nottud's Good Forest or someone's easy brilliant forest. Don't make it all forest it is very annoying.

Everything was explained pefect and Instruction were fine.
Additional Comments:
A while ago Forsythe_Racing contacted me about reducing lag on a map. His took 1 minute to load even on one player, and normally 10 minutes online. I made it load much quicker (about Class 4 Lagstorm/Lagpower [What ever they call it now-a-days]). This is how to do it:
First, you need to fire event ONLY the cinematic triggers at the start of the game (and diplomacy triggers). Then fire event 20% more triggers, then 5 seconds later fire event more etc. etc. In the mean time, with Fade to Colour 255, 255, 255, with overlay text "loading. . ." or if your clever:
Loading.
Loading. .
Loading. . .
Loading.
etc. Maybe with sound effects.
Anyway firing the triggers seperatly does help lag storm.
Great map. Gargarensis should have a name possibly, "The Devil" and modify him some more. My escape is coming out EXTREMELY soon and it will rock so badly. ALMOST (0.01%) Better, but not quite. |
