Here is my first fight in about 3 weeks, after beeing on holiday for 2 weeks, then going off on another holiday for a week. A little rusty, as you can gather, i played not much better then 1650. I didn't raid much, i just pushed in the foreground. He kept winning battles because of numbers, but then retreated when he won for some reason. Once i got some tox and hops, the battle really begun. He used turma and murm, microed by my hips/hops (turma) and my tox/cent (murm), then i crushed his FB and headed for him. At this point, he wanted to save the game (crazy french). Once i got his villigars idle, he quit.
Boo-hoo.
Critisism welcome, by all means. Remember, 3 weeks.
:)
Ok...starters, don't loop the fishing ships at the start if you end up housing yourself, that's a situation you need to avoid, especially against someone with the option of an early advance i.e. Atty...
Your villies went off to gold instead of wood at one point... >.< annoying I know, but shift+task to wood while building the storehouse..
Need to be quicker in putting up the military buildings...plus the fact that you had plenty of resources to get a cav/hop/tox 1/1/1 that could have nipped the FB in the bud.
Good micro. :P
Get some more on gold earlier, that's always the mistake I make...too many on wood, not enough on gold. :)
Should have put the rax up straight away. Atty fishing = surplus food so they'd end up getting murm anyway...you need a meatshield for your centaurs, which rocked by the way.
Good raiding too. Pity KiMo was a complete dumbass.
