A new god power by skystrider. Creates a shield impassible to your foes. Functions on the same principle as a gate.
Not enabled for any god in particular.
Aztec in design for no reason other than I felt like it. |

Clever! So no units can enter that circle unless they are allied to you? |

i see massive strategic value here, depending on the map. also, depending on the time this is either heroic or mythic is strength. although its kinda lame how it just places a splat. some thing a little more interesting would be amazing. |

I don't think I'm going to put this in my game, I just wanted to see how you accomplished this. Great idea using the Gate action. You've got a ton of < flag >'s in there I've never heard of either... What do they accomplish? Anyway, great idea! |

Also if it acts just like a gate, does that mean that enemies can still range attack the units inside? ~ Steak |

I think it would look better if you used Sky Passage Sfx to surround it so it would be like a Light Gate Thing from the ground =D |

BTW, do you mind if I use this technique for something like a forcefield in the Star Wars Mods project?

@Khan And Steak:
Enemy ranged units can still attack the units you have within the shield.
@hell_ruler_666:
Firstly, god powers are tricky files to begin with. If you are having troubles, just delete the shield.xml from the god powers file. You'll still be able to place the 'Shield' unit in the scenario editor.
Secondly, protox.xml and techtreex.xml are usually located in the 'data' folder in the main AoM directory. If that is not the case, you probably need to unzip data2.bar using Ykkrosh's AoMEd, which can be downloaded at HeavenGames.
@newb27:
I don't mind if you use the concept. Feel free, in fact.
