Usefulness: 3
I found that this was a very useful guide, as it told how to create something that not many people use in their maps. I did of course, already know how to do this, but it is good to teach new people how to create waterfalls. However, there was already a guide for how to do this in the design library, and so you kind of repeated something already done.
Understandability: 3
As I said, that there was already a guide on how to do this, yet that is not such a bad thing. Your guide for creating waterfalls was simply put, quite easily so much simpler to understand. (I got it wrong the first time on how to make waterfalls with the other guide.) This would have been a four, but there was one big factor that made me quite angry over this. You made it mandatory in your guide to download something extra to be able to make these waterfalls. I myself still use good old Reyks editor, and so seeing that I would have to get nottuds to make it easier, as I already can make these, I was distressed as you could know. You only wrote the guide from the point of view that someone would already have nottuds and what to do from there. If they didn't have it and weren't going to get it, then how would they do it? I suggest you write another part in it explaining how to make waterfalls if you don't have nottuds editor.
Grammar: 4
Well, there isn't much to put here for commenting, you either have it or you don't. I found that you wrote this in a way quite easy to read, and I understood it. Yet, there were some grammar mistakes. I understand that you do not speak English by default, yet even that does not excuse the right to not keep it cleaned up in a guide. As the majority of people speak English, and this is a helping guide after all, it would be very needed to make it as clear as possible to understand.
Screenshots: 5
Again, it is difficult to write about a lot in this category, and some types of guides aren't ones that screenshots can be used in. But, I found that all in all, this was very helpful and great. The letters and circles and arrows were all very helpful, and it delivered the perfect message.
Additional Comments: As I said, reyk editor users would be lost here as I was. I suggest you make a separate version additional to this download for reyk users. We haven't all switched over to cable yet! And good job, you make it easy to understand, I expect more from you in the future. ;) |
