Playability: 3
I liked the Circe character really. I really liked the lightning bolt attack. (Favorite element is Electric/Lightning) It had limited options and was okay.
Balance: 3
The balance was pretty good. It wasnt to easy or to hard. Not to bad
Creativity: 2
There wasn't much creativity I dont think. IT wasn't very complex. The most creatiivity went into the main character which wasn't that bad
Map Design: 2
The map was overall the same in each level. Nothing to special
Story/Instructions: 1
I saw no story in this whatsoever. A random person and some people get a village, get another, then pointlessly fight an egyptian village. I dont see where Circe saves the world. Pretty pointless
Additional Comments:
The only thing that was appealing really to me was Circes, who was fun to use. Theres a weird glitch on the last level for me. It said a quote from the beginning from Circes and stayed in my little box and i couldn't click to make soldier upgrades or anything below. |

Playability: 3
Playable, but maybe not enjoyable. It was basically the same thing/objective every time. Build up, kill the enemy. Not exactly fun, maybe it would be for the first-timers but definitely not for me.
Balance: 3
The Balance was okay I guess, but most of the time you would complete a task without any problems. You could even it up a bit more. Like the first level, maybe give the enemy more units, have them build up faster, etc. Things that could help the enemy make the game more challenging and if a player loses, well they will feel like they need to play again (unless they are a sore loser and run away from the game).
Creativity: 1
No creativity at all. Objectives were simple and boring. Build up and kill the enemy. No story, nothing. Idea of Circe has been used many times and some of them were good, but this one was bad because there was no explanation of anything. Yeah, a cutscene at the start (one that didn't end so I had to quit AoM), but it didn't really explain much. Dark times, ok, but why Circe? Why are these people attacking her?
Map Design: 1
The maps, no offense, were terrible. All it had was your TC, a path surrounded by trees in the middle, and the enemy TC. Next time, if you still want to use the tree-path style, at least add SOME eye candy. Map design is important to a scenario, its not all about the playability or the objectives, triggers and cutscenes. Speaking of which, the cutscene could've used eye candy too. A fortress with 3 hersirs and 3 hetairoi. You could've added trees, rocks, maybe a river in the background. Don't make everything so plain and boring.
Story/Instructions: 2
There was minimal story but the instructions were clear and always simple. Im not saying thats a good thing, if its too simple then it gets boring. Maybe let the player figure out some of the things, not all of it. Instead of saying "kill the wolf on the other side of the gate" you could've said "scout out a wolf and kill it". Then you could have made a forest, and put the wolf in there for the player to fin, making it more challenging.
Additional Comments:
It was a boring scenario to play, I didn't really take it seriously and it didn't keep me on the edge of my chair, like some scenarios. Use eye candy! Plain maps are boring! I guess you wanted the player to know where to go by using the tree-path but you could've made a forest with rivers and cliffs and made a road in the middle. It didn't have to be a set path. Make the objectives and enemies harder. I played this on titan (as I do on all scenarios unless told otherwise) and it was still way too easy. Over all you need to improve your use of eye candy and make a better story line. And by the way, your .cpn or .cmp file didn;t work, so i had to load all three levels from "load scenario". Did you make this in titans or regular AoM?
