This is a random defence... but don't think that just because it's easy for the first half that it's going to be easy the rest of the time.
In fact, I bet you'll lose on easy :D

You might want that review to be extended to three lines if you wish to keep it.

I must say I love TD's and infinite waves of endless joy type games. That said it definitely added to your score here. I mean the more I think about it the map was not anything to look at, there was no instruction and I had know idea what I was doing first round through. Yet despite that, the amount of fun I experienced whilst inspecting this little map was quite great :). It's simplicity was the main factor to it's success in this area. The map was easy to play and even without any instructions everyone picked it up very quickly. The only real thing that brought down your mark here was it was rather repetitive and the confusion at the start. There was no lag, no trigger bugs and I didn't get to see if there was a victory issue but there certainly wasn't a defeat problem :)
Balance: 3
It was too hard. On Easy I was expecting to be able to beat the game. However to my dismay I fell short of the victor line. On Normal (the middle old man) mode the game was just playable scraping in just in time for almost all waves. Maybe we just sucked lol but still it was hard. Well that what was brought you down. Apart from that, no player had a distinct advantage over the others - everyone had the same starting area, resources, chance to get resources and the same units to build :)
Creativity: 4
TDs have been done various times before as well as the changing buildings/units however in this map everything worked together rather well. There was a nice variety of units to build - each with their own strengths and weaknesses as well some variety in enemy units. Not to mention the boss waves and levelling up :) It would have been nice to see some environmental effects like changes in lighting or some snow/rain every now and then. Still all things considered you did rather nicely here :)
Map Design: 2
Well... Two large, flat plateaus covered by Grass A is not very well designed. There was terrain mixing at all and definitely no eyecandy, even on the back of the plateaus. The ravine in the middle is what stopped you from a 1 here. The trees mediocrery suited the path and the gold and the mining camp where rotated and positioned nicely to fit in with the surroundings :) Adding some lighting effects, mixing the terrain and adding some eyecandy would do wonders here :)
Story/Instructions: 2
There were no instructions or story other than stop the enemies from getting the gold. No instructions on how or the best way to do it. There was no mention on levelling up either :/ The very short storyline at least gave purpose to the scenario :) Adding instructions via the objectives banner would, again, do wonder to your score in this category :)

Nice simple map that I will play again :) ~ Steak
EDIT: Lol I just realised that I put smileies at the end of every paragraph :p
