My first mod/project. Took quite a long time to make and I still need to fix it up in some places. But still, here it is! ^^
The Amazons were fierce warrior women. From birth they were brought up to be warriors. Female children in the Amazons tribes were said to have their right breast seared during childhood to facilitate the use of a bow. Accounts as to the culture and rulership of the Amazons remain sketchy, however some sources say there were two Amazon queens; one who ruled over domestic affairs and one who ruled over battle and warfare. Conquests of the Amazons were throughout Greece, and their legacy of fierceness and triumphs in battle were noted by the Spartan leader Lycurgus as well as many Greeks.
It won't show up in the game, and where do I put the language file thing?

Place that just in your main Age of Mythology folder. There is already a file called language.dll in there so be sure to back that up first.

This is a neatly executed modification, obviously borne of a particular interest in the subject. I congratulate you on going to the trouble of editing the language.dll because it is an extra step that a lot of modders tend to skip and it really helps with a smooth integration of a new unit into the game. I took points off due to the fact that the unit really lacks any 'wow' factor, it is simply Atalanta with a new texture and history file and while it fits well with the game it provides no incentive for the user to keep it installed. Don't be disheartened if you are unable to make new models, it's amazing how much you can change the units appearance with anim edits and of course, my much loved, invisible textures. The Amazon Warrior is an applaudable introduction to your modding career, whether it be a long or short one.
Additional Comments:
I'd also recommend cropping the screenshot up top because you can't see any details of the unit itself.
