AoM: The Titans |
Though the primary focus of this is the scenario,a demo of upcoming campaign, the golden fleece,it is 80% mods and should go here.so on to the mods shall we, though there are many mods here, not all were created by me,for example the titan o' stone is made by GURE.
Fort barracks(military barracks in editor),a new building
Fort soldier(mercenary in editor)a new close/ranged unit(texture credit goes to joey the titan)
Villager Atlantean like old one but no donkey
Titan of stone(big titan made by GURE) |

Well, for one, you haven't really explained what this actually is. Write up a story and put in a screenshot.
Secondly, most people avoid scenarios or campaigns that use mods.
Add more detail about the file an I will consider downloading and reviewing.

The story is explained in-game intro, and its not a scenario that uses mods, its a mod that comes with a scenario, and your quite wrong about people not dl'ing scenarios that use mods, and if you don't believe me take a look at legends of the third age:Fotr. Its just a fiction scenario with Atlantis and pirates and stuff typical aom. |

People won't just download to find out what the story is about. They download after reading the overview of the story and then play through it.
And The third age mod is different. It is a complete remake of the game. It also uses an individual .exe file. |

Third age is not s comlete remake, old civs are still there.
i think you got it confused with age of middle earth
if you REALLY want the story read on:Atlantean Livestock has been stolen and arkantos takes some mercs and hunts down the thieves. there, satisfied? |

I was trying to help him. And I never said I was "The best scenario maker". That is clearly Oscar. I don't know what your problem is.The point of me being on the review team is to help people get better at doing stuff. For example, advertising the scenario. I am sure the scenario itself is fine, maybe even great, I am just hesitant at downloading scenarios or campaigns with mods. By advising him on how to advertise his scenario I am trying to help him get more downloads. |

look jack, there's a reason i posted here, not scenario section, and it's because I MYSELF have that problem, and so i thought"If I put it in mods section people will download, because why would they come here if they were not looking for mods?" and "so what if it comes with a scenario, many mods come with a scenario and that guy making the arghal campaign has already released many previews that got good reviews, an has clearly stated that it will come with a campaign." and how do you KNOW it wont be as big as the third age mod or arghal campaign, its just a demo, i plan to add at the least: 7 more scenarios,15 new units, and possibly a new civ.
next time please download and see what the mod looks like, because even though the mods are for the scenario/campaign that doesn't mean you can't use them otherwise i mean the final will have a whole Trojan civ new alantian units and Amazonians, maby even pirates. |

I believe what jack is trying to do is help you. He is helping you by telling you strategies to get more downloads. He suggests to put up a screenshot, and if the picture is too large, put a screenshot inside your file. 2nd, i don't think Jack has quoted himself as the best scenario designer. I was a bit confused when you wrote that phoenix_fire.
My 2 cents, add a screenshot, put a better explanation about your units. Personally, i don't feel like downloading this because there is no picture, and i seriously do not want to add it into my folders only to find it dissapointing in game and having to locate them again and delete it. |
