Dawn of Strategy
Normally, in Age of Mythology, games are made so that you all start out equally, then work your way to overcome your opponent. As one player gains an advantage, it becomes harder and harder for the losing player or team to gain back their ground.
Now, in Dawn of Strategy, it is a different matter.
DAWN OF STRATEGY
Dawn of strategy is a game based entirely on military strategy. There are more than 20 arenas in the game, each of which holds equal units for each team. There is also a Minigames-style shop, where you can choose what arenas you want to play. When chosen, an arena will convert the Gaia units to players, and you will have 20 seconds to set up your troops in anyway that you want before you fight.
Once the 20 seconds is up, you can fight each other between 2 teams. Use military strategy to kill all of their troops without dying yourself. The team captain (Players 1 and 3) of the team that just lost in that arena will take the chooser and choose a new level. In this new level that they choose, everything will start out fair again, the winning team won't have an advantage or anything.

This map includes features such as:
•Tutorial cinematic.
•Gameplay options, choose between first team to 3, 5, 8, and 10 points will win.
•More than 20 different arenas, made by multiple players.
•3 bonus levels that will only be activated every once in a while.
•Strategic setup for each of the maps, making it hard to just win by luck.

This map includes fun arenas such as Glacier Pass, Forest Fight, Norse War, Modern Combat, Camel Wars, and more.
This is the first version of the scenario, so if you find any bugs, please inform me.
Also, there are a few bugs that I have already discovered, and here are the ways to solve them:
Accidentally selected 2 arenas at once - play one of the arenas, but once someone wins, you will all become neutral with each other, making it so that you cannot finish the other one. Once this happens, do NOT choose another level, but allow one team to delete their soldiers, and then choose a level.
The team captain (person who gets chooser) resigns - Delete their obelisk, and the other person on that team will get the chooser from now on.
Some units get stuck underwater - just delete the unit.

Sorry I had to remove your HTML as you deleted the downloads section HTML by closing its table tags at the start.
BBCode also doesn't work in HTML mode, you have to colour your font and make lists in HTML if you want a table. There is no way to re-enable the DL section HTML, so don't break the tables, just go straight in to your table.
Why do you also have [c] tags all over the place? A tip is close the tag as soon as you start a new one![Edited on 01/01/10 @ 05:08 PM]

Well, I think he means that you have to include the < html> and < /html> tags in your file description to be able to use html.
If you want to colour your fonts, you can't use the BBCode for colouring because you're working with html, not BBCode. Instead of using the [c=#FFFFFF] you should use < font color="#FFFFFF"> (leaving the first space).
Hope this helps =)[Edited on 01/02/10 @ 10:24 AM]

I just updated it and added some triggers so that when someone resigns, all of their units will be given to their ally. Also, the obelisks to convert the chooser to a player now belong to the player that it will convert to. |
