Eyecandy Tricks by Tasterix
What you are about to download is probably the most important guideline you need to make eyecandy in your maps. If you want some more guidelines like this, please comment and rate this file and you will probably see some other stuff soon like "How to create your own RPG" or "How do you use triggers". It took me many hours to build up this eyecandy guideline and I'm hoping you to comment and share this.

I thought I knew how to eyecandy, until i saw this. Well done, Tasterix.
There were no spelling errors in the guide, but the word "Guide" is missing a "E" for the name. Of course, thats no reason to lower my rating. Just informing you.[Edited on 07/21/11 @ 07:52 AM]

Really usefull information here. I think I can say for the entire community, we all very much appreciate your work. It was easy explained to so it's very understandable for people who are more experienced and people who aren't in making beautiful maps.
One minor thing though: I saw lots of grammar mistakes. I certainly can't say I don't make grammar mistakes but for making a quasi professional guide, this is something you need to work on next time.
(In case you need an example:
they will surely say “okay, THEY
WERE SOMEONE HERE cutting wood
and left it for some reasons, why ?”
Player will surely get a wood
bonus, but for what price ? What
will you put beside this forest,
hidden, AN HYDRA ?
there are plenty more, but there is no real need to adress them. People understand what you're saying and what you're saying is very good.)
I myself will make good use of this knowledge and the new tools and textures. I hope your good work reflects throughout the mapmaking community.
Greetz,
Madmixer
P.s.: I'm quite new here on this AoM forum. I hope I fit in well enough. |
