Indroduction

Triggers in Age of Mythology are script events used in a scenario to control actions in game play. Fortunately for us a “Trigger Editor” is included for us so no scripting knowledge is required. A Trigger is devised of a “Condition” and an “Effect”. When the conditions of a set condition are met, it will fire an effect. The Effect is the “action” part of the trigger. Conditions are thing that can be evaluated in the game, and effects are actions within the game, such as adding a new unit or displaying a message.
